  • Jay Patricks

    EXEC DIRECTOR/PRESIDENT

    Jay has 40 years experience in the music industry as a musician, sound engineer, studio producer, publisher and videographer. Jay has worked with, advocated for and produced a long list of bands/musicians from our area. As bassist, producer and main songwriter for southern rock/ blues band “The Chitlins” he has performed on stages all over the U.S. and his music has landed into the ears of folks all around the world.

  • Dejuan T Hobbs

    VICE PRESIDENT

    Dejuan Hobbs, BKA “Hobbs” is the talent buyer at Ground Zero Blues Club Biloxi MS. Hobbs started in entertainment with promotions and as a Dj. He has booked some of the biggest names in blues music including Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Tito Jackson, Bobby Rush, Irma Thomas, Mr. Sipp, Eric Gales, Tab Benoit, Tommy Castro, Rashad the Blues Kid and others….

  • Mick Steele

    CFO/CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

    Mick has been a staple of the Gulf Coast music scene for decades. From working early on with local legends “Change To Eden” to working with the one and only Dr. John. Mick is currently the head of sound/stage production at Ground Zero Blues club Biloxi MS

  • Scott Henry

    BOARD SPOKESPERSON

    Scott is a 35 year veteran of the music business. From the MS delta to the MS coast. Since 2012 his role as co-producer and front man for the southern rock band The Chitlins has earned him a “boots on the ground” degree in the workings of creating, releasing and performing original music.

  • Michael Myhres

          BOARD MEMBER

    Michael has been a fixture on the Gulf Coast music scene for the better part of four decades. Playing in many bands, honing his craft of teaching music. He started teaching in 1983. In 2007 he began teaching guitar at Ocean Springs High School. Where a one year fill in turned into a six year tenure. In 2009 Michael and his wife Cecilia opened Myhres School of Music in Biloxi and are now celebrating their 15th year in business.

  • Chuck Young

    Board member

    Chuck Young has been immersed in the Gulf Coast music scene since his teenage years. At 20, Chuck hit the road with his first band gaining valuable experience as a touring tech. Over the years, he’s played a vital role in multiple projects, developed a strong reputation for both performance and technical skill, and remained a dedicated contributor to the local music community. Chuck continues to support Gulf Coast artists through ECC and personal endeavors as a producer and mentor. His journey from teenage trial-and-error to seasoned professional reflects a deep commitment to the craft and culture of music in Mississippi.
